My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            I regret missing our letter yesterday. I had to get to the 5th grade classroom early to get our manipulatives organized. I had a lovely time. I was most gratified that two girls volunteered to come to the front of the room to explain their thinking! This might be the year we get our perfect video of class discussion.

            I have to dash off in a few minutes to see the progress on Washington Commons. You will recall that’s the co-housing group I belong to. Construction is moving along nicely with projected move-in 2/01/24. Exciting!

That joyous occasion will coincide with the depressing 3rd anniversary of the coup in Burma. Speaking of which, I hope you brought this topic up with NDM & the other guys at the G20.

“Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” - One Earth, One Family, One Future! How is that mantra informing the work of the G20? Should I be excited about the ambitious plan just unveiled to build a rail & shipping corridor linking India with the Middle East & Europe that aims “to strengthen economic growth & political cooperation?” I tend to be suspicious of anything involving MbS. Too often he has ulterior motives. Please proceed with caution.

If I had more time, I would try to learn more about that Konark Wheel at the sun temple. I’d love to know what NDM had to say about it.
