My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            I have a full Sunday, so this is going to be a hasty note. I have to deal with a “furry friend” who I heard scratching around in my kitchen cupboards as I worshipped with the Yangon Friends Meeting this AM. In the silence of our Zoom call, the rodents’ activity helped me make peace with the idea of selling this house to let go of the worry of pests, cracks in the wall & regulating the temperature by opening & closing windows.

            It was kind of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong (NPT) to say, “you have nary aged a day & I would say you look even better than before,” but please do not be flattered into selling weapons to Vietnam.  While you may be tempted to prevent China from controlling them, please remember WINTA!!!

            Perhaps your visit to Ganhi’s memorial with the G20 gang yesterday reminded you that we will all be better off when our leaders embrace his sentiment, "the day the power of love overrules the love of power, the world will know peace.”
