            Warning, this letter may be aborted b4 being finished. I am expecting my host to emerge from his bedroom any minute & want to spend time chatting with him before he heads off to rehab the houses of poor rural folx in VT. I will alert you to his latest projects so you can tout them in your campaign.

            My quick read of the news has you heading to Windsor Locks, CT, to talk about gun safety at the Gibbons’ National Safer Communities Summit. It’s unfortunate that CT public radio is the only news outlet covering the event. Do you have a catchy sound bite planned that will get some attention?

June 16 – Day 2 of reunion

            Quick reunion report – I have encountered at least 3 different false memories. I am not sure who is correct in each case, but I have been involved in conversations where people are telling me things that don’t coincide with my recollection of events. I have not disagreed, just made a mental note.

            Thanks for going to PA to check out the bridge collapse on I-95. I missed that. I hope it doesn’t take too long to fix. The incident punctuates the need for infrastructure improvements.

            Please read the article in today’s AJ, “Myanmar’s NUG negotiates ethnic differences as crisis deepens. Administration set up in wake of the 2021 coup is also battling international indifference as conflict fades from headlines.”  The Burmese situation is complicated & your involvement might lead to some clarity. Please do what you can to help.
