My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            I hope your teeth are feeling better. Aren’t you glad you live in 2023 rather than 1789 when POTUS 1 struggled with his dental health? Poor guy kept the teeth that were pulled out of his mouth so that they could be made into dentures. Thank heavens for modern medicine!

            It’s a busy day for me. Graduation events & then the redeye to Boston. I still need to pack & get my garden squared away. Fingers crossed that our helper recovers from her migraine so she can take care of my husband while I’m gone. It’s all good. Que sera, sera.

            You are brave to be attending the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) event tonight after granting the Mt Valley pipeline permit. I’m sure that’s not a popular move among the LCVers. Perhaps they will overlook that faux pas since they plan to spend the night “celebrating climate victories & honoring climate champions.” Among the honorees is NPP who has a 100% pro-environmental voting record according to LCV. Please thank her for me.

            What do you think of Fox News running a chyron that said, “Wannabe dictator speaks at the White House after having his political rival arrested?” I hadn’t heard of a chyron until this AM. It’s fascinating when the pot calls the kettle black.

            Confirmed human rights abuses in Burma now number 2267. Please talk about this. People aren’t aware. Last night I went to a restaurant called, “My Burma” & asked our 2 servers if they knew what was going on in Burma. They did not. Please make some noise.
