Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to visit the folks in TN who have been affected by those terrible tornados in the wee hours on Tuesday morning. According to the WP, the one that hit Cookeville was the worst one we’ve had in the USA since 2009. You might want to take a look at the Tennessean from the past few days which has stories about each of the 24 people who were killed. The one about 4-year old Hattie Collins, daughter of the youth minister at Collegeside Church of Christ brought tears to my eyes.

Speaking of little girls and churches, did you see the article in the WP today about Sarah Collins Rudolph, the only girl to survive the 1963 16th Street Church bombing. After a life of suffering, at age 68 she’s asking for an apology and restitution. I think we owe her something, don’t you? I wish you could join Rep. Terri Sewell at her march in Selma today to show your commitment to civil rights. You could take that opportunity to apologize to Sarah. That would lift the spirits of all of those folks out there fretting over CV.

Speaking of CV, it’s too bad that you can’t make a deal with it to get it to go away.

I hope your weekend in FL brings you some peace of mind,

            BYBS,
