My Dear Friend and President, DJT,
How’s Davos? The NYT says you are being a “more mellow version” of yourself. That’s wonderful. I love your statement in your speech today that “fear & doubt (are) not good thought processes” and am thrilled that you have committed to be part of the trillion tree campaign. Perhaps you could start that initiative by asking your buddy JMB to curtail cutting down trees in Brazil.
I’m sure you heard about Greta’s speech and her soundbite, “our house is still on fire and your inaction is fueling the flames by the hour.” I hope you get a chance to meet the other youth that added their voices to the choir about the need for change. I’m especially impressed with Natasha Wang Mwans from Zambia who wants to inspire her peers to “take radical action and foster positive change.”
You might want to emulate these kids. They’re practicing the 2 H’s – Humility & Humanity. Did you ever notice that those 2 words share the same root as my favorite thing, humus, reminding us that we are made from the same mud and will return to the Earth someday. Dust to dust, ashes to ashes.
Please do your part to ensure that our planet does not turn into ash & dust. Your grandkids are counting on you.
Best,
