How was Austin? Thanks for expressing our sympathies to Zippy and his family.

Did you meet any milo farmers at the rally? It’s a big crop in TX used for animal feed & ethanol. Farmers like to use it in rotation with corn because it wards off Goss’ wilt. It’s also drought tolerant. It’s gluten free so maybe I’ll try growing some.

I’m troubled by the gun rally in Richmond, VA today. It’s armed intimidation, quite the opposite of the non-violence that MLK advocated. Perhaps you could tweet about MLK’s conversion from gun owner to non-violence guru. If you do, please mention Bayard Rustin (BR). He’s the guy who convinced MLK to get rid of his arsenal after a reporter nearly sat on a gun in MLK’s living room. BR was a gay Quaker who organized the March on Washington. I encourage you to look him up.
