            How’s Florida today? I understand you are heading off to TX this evening to visit with the famers at the American Farm Bureau (AFBF) 2020 Convention in Austin. I’m sure you heard that AFBF President, Zippy Duvall’s wife just succumbed to cancer. Please express condolences on behalf of us all. The timing of her passing and the convention must be very hard on him. I hope he gets a chance to speak with you about his troubles staffing his chicken operation these days. He says we have a “crisis” and need immigrant workers to help farmers put food on our tables.

            Did you see the piece in the WP today about your moment in the “Tank Room” with JNM, RWT & GDC? It reports that you called the generals, “a bunch of dopes & babies,” & “losers.” Apparently, you wanted to use the military as a profit center by charging countries to have our soldiers stationed on their soil & RWT tried to help you understand that our soldiers are not “soldiers of fortune.”   I’m afraid the piece is not very flattering.

            I’m all for limiting our military presence around the world, but don’t think it’s a good idea to call anyone names. Please refrain from doing so in the future.
