I suspect that you are out on the golf course as I write. I hope you are enjoying yourself. Did you have fun with Jack Nicklaus yesterday. How did his grandson do?
Did you see the article about Donald Jr. in the WP today? I think it was complimentary. I was surprised to learn that he courted conservationists during the 2016 campaign. There's a hint that he may run for office one of these days since he's such a good campaigner. You must be a proud papa.
I hope that you will take Chief Justice Roberts' words to heart and recognize that an "independent judiciary is something we should all be thankful for." Please remember that you are a president, not a king and a balance of power works best. If the judiciary is partisan and a case about you comes to one of "your" judges, then folks can claim justice was not served when you win. You don't want that do you?
I encourage you to consider a wild idea to solve the problem of all of those poor people in Tijuana waiting for their day in court. You have 5900 troops on the border and about 6200 people hoping to get asylum. If each soldier escorts one family into the country the problem will be solved. The soldier could help the people get somewhere (WI or ND maybe), help them fill out the appropriate paperwork and then go back to their base. Since the military has not trained those kids to be border guards, might as well put them to work as escorts. It would be a great learning experience for those young folks and much more stimulating than waiting around.
