My dear Friend and president, DJT,

            We are having a sunny moment this morning in Minneapolis. It's going to stay cool here. A welcome change from sizzling Sacto. Actually, it's not that hot there today so I'm happy that my family is comfortable.

            I didn't have the time or energy for a close read of the news today and only had a minute to enjoy listening to David Bellavia talk about what winning the Medal of Honor means to him. What a humble guy! He talked about how uncomfortable it is for him to be singled out since all he cares about is the team. He sees himself as being a custodian of the award and loves the army because it helped him hone his direction and learn from his mistakes. He treasures the opportunities he had to work with people who were different from himself. He says, "we can get things done if we take ourselves out of the equation and focus on the objective." I think that's wonderful advice, don't you?

            I hope you have time to spend some time with him today after the award ceremony.
