            How did things go with VMO yesterday?  Did you follow Sen. James Risch's advice and talk to VMO about "Hungary's downward democratic trajectory?" I hope you followed my advice and didn't sell him any weapons. A country the size of North Carolina doesn't need a big army, does it? Did you convince him to buy some US LNG?

            Speaking of LNG, what are you going to say about it on your trip to the Cameron LNG Export Terminaltoday? According to the NO Advocate, folks in LA are a bit worried that the China Trade War is going to put a damper on the explosion of LNG exports in the past few years. Perhaps you should counsel them to slow down the development of new facilities and reconsider. It would be a shame to build 4 more big, ugly, smelly processing plants just to have them sit idle. I don't even want to think about what those things do to the environment and I certainly wouldn't want to live near one, would you? Best to wait and see what happens with China.

            While you are in NO today please give my regards to Boysie Bollinger(DTB). I actually haven't met him, but he was acquainted with my uncle through the WWII museum. It's too bad that you aren't holding your fund raiser there. It would be a great venue for you. The place is gigantic. It needs to be, so it can hold the Higgin's boats that won the war. DTB's $20 million "Peace Canopy" is one of the latest additions to the museum. The architect who designed it hopes people will see that, "to seek peace and maintain peace you need strength and you need a certain amount of emotional transparency as well as a flexibility in your negotiation." That's something for you to keep in mind. I'm curious to know which of Boysie's friends show up at your fund raiser today. Please let me know when you get a chance.
