My dear Friend and President, DJT,
It looks like you had a good time in Grand Rapids. From what I could see on the MLive, your adoring fans were out in force. I'm afraid that many of them looked angry. It's disturbing to see young men clenching their fists with enraged looks on their faces. I have taught many young men and I know that they often make bad choices. Riling them up into a frenzy is a bad idea. Please stop doing that.
I was happy to hear you expressing your enthusiasm for the Great Lakes, although you have to be careful not to exaggerate. They are deep but not the deepest in the world. Thanks for supporting the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative. Getting rid of those pesky carp and eliminating algal blooms will help make the lakes great again.
I'm excited that you are visiting Lake Okeechobee today on your way down to Mar-a-Lago. The Everglades are the opposite of the Great Lakes with acres and acres of shallow water where special grasses grow providing habitat for little critters that wading birds love to eat. I encourage you to watch the video featured in the Miami Herald today where Dr. Stephen Davisexplains what a special place Lake Okeechobee is and how it's been profoundly affected by environmental degradation. That will help you understand why it's important to invest in protecting that area.
Wouldn't it be nice if the government had unlimited $ and you could fix every problem we have? Too bad that's not the case. So, I encourage you to be careful about making promises that you can't keep. As you know I think the Wall is a poor investment so I encourage you to cut that out of the budget so you can spend the $ elsehwere.
Best,
RCA
