My dear Friend and President, DJT,

             Despite being rained on all last night, our Davis crab apple blossoms are hanging in there. Amazing that something so delicate can be so tough! How are the cherry blossoms holding up?

            Are you ready for your trip to Grand Rapids today?  The Grand Rapids paper calls your visit, "a victory lap," and the Detroit News claims that you are "reinvigorated" and expects that you now have a "boost of energy". Lucky you!

            The Detroit News editors are skeptical about William Barr's (WPB) interpretation of the Mueller Report. They want to get their hands on the complete report. I think that everyone does, so I hope that WPB goes ahead and hands it over. Speaking of WPB, don't you think he looks like Fred Flintstone? Wide face, droopy eyes, pale skin - I think he's a lot smarter than Fred, at least I hope so.

            Folks all over MI have their eyes on you, as you well know. Apparently, they live in one of the "swing" states that may or may not swing your way in 2020. Sen. Debbie Stabenow said that MI will have a pivotal role in the next election. She just got re-elected for the 4th time so I think she understands the politics in her state. When she teams up with Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (GEW) to campaign against you next year, you better be ready. As you'll recall GEW won her election by 10 points so some of your voters chose to side with her. It'll be interesting to see those voters in the Great Lakes state do in 2020.

            Try to remain positive tonight and refrain from vilifying anyone at your rally. Just remember, we all want what's best for the country. Presidents need detractors to keep them from becoming tyrants. You were Barak's detractor and now you have some detractors of your own. That's as it should be. Don't you think?
