My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

            Shock & awe! You like to stimulate that in the public. I think you learned how fun it was to stir things up when you were in middle school & created distractions in the classroom. I can imagine how powerful you felt when everyone turned their attention to you for daring to disrespect the teacher. Educators call it “acting out” & associate it with kids who are expressing some issues in their home lives. I can only imagine what those might have been for you. Perhaps someday we can have a chat about that.

            I bring up shock in awe because you could create some by acting like Pope Francis (PF) on your trip to his funeral. The world would be amazed if you engaged in the profound act of humility by kissing feet. PF did it many times, perhaps most dramatically during a meeting with South Sudanese President Salva Kiir & his bitter political rival Riek Machar who came to the Vatican for a spiritual retreat in 2019. You could kiss the feet of VVP & VOZ while persuading them to stop fighting. Such an act would put to rest all speculation about your narcissism.

            SoW, David Brooks alluded to it today in his Op-Ed about your brilliance. I’m sure you got a smile out of his observation that you are “like a supercar with 1,000 horsepower…(& your) opponents have been coasting around on moped,” that you have no fear of failure & have a clarity of purpose that the US elite lacks. If you can add some humility & more love to the mix, you might become as popular as PF.

            While you are at the Vatican, please be on the lookout for Archbishop Stephen Than Myint Oo of Burma & see if there is any way we can assist him & those under his care who are dealing with the effects of the earthquake & the airstrikes.
