My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

            You must be on Cloud 9 after the warm reception you received at the UFC event in Miami. I watched your gaggle on the way home & enjoyed seeing Kai talking to the reporters about her reaction to seeing the fights.

            As my young friends would say, “I ain’t gonna lie,” I’m not comfortable with the hypermasculine aspects of your persona, so I’d prefer that you not attend such events. Glorifying violence & a might-makes-right mentality leads to domination. We won’t have true freedom until the weakest among us feel safe. It’s hard to feel safe when folks around you are flexing muscles & wielding weapons.

I know you admire courageous people who risk their lives, so rather than shining a light on martial artists, you could uplift first responders who put themselves in peril to save lives.

Speaking of fighting, did you see the Opinion piece written by the NY Post Board which suggested that “The Ukraine conflict is an endless meat grinder that Putin keeps turning” & that you made a mistake when you let “Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth participate only virtually in a gathering of his European colleagues on the Ukraine situation?”

Please forgive that last convoluted sentence. I have been trying to read Falkner & that’s how he writes.

Back to VVP, I echo the NYP’s request that you up the recognition, privately and publicly that Vlad is the problem.

Has your newly created White House Faith Office found a church for you to attend service this morning to celebrate Palm Sunday? If not, you are welcome to join us at DFM. Sometimes the kids act out Jesus triumphal entry into Jerusalem by having a kid ride on the back of another kid into the Meeting Room while everyone waves palm fronds. The kids have no idea the bravery that Jesus had to draw so much attention to himself when he represented a threat to those in charge, but they have fun.

            Given your admiration for those willing to put their lives on the line, why not call attention to Jesus’ strength in defying the leaders of his day? Speaking truth to power is what democracy is all about, isn’t it?

            Please hold the people of Burma in the Light as they were jolted yet again by a 5.5 magnitude quake just as their Thingyan holiday was supposed to start. They are desperate for humanitarian aid. Please make an exception for them.
