My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

Are you ready for some football? My husband has cooked up a load of goodies which we will be taking over to our 92-year-old friend’s house. She’s always ready to party, even though she can’t see too well & so, asks lots of questions about what’s going on in the game.

I look forward to some creativity from my guy, Patrick Mahome & his favorite receiver, Travis Kelce. Will you be stopping by Taylor’s box to say hi? Some folks worry that Travis’ Friday night date might have been too distracting. What do you think?

Have you heard about President Bernardo Arévalo’s efforts to welcome deportees back to Guatemala? It’s the kind of creativity that this moment calls for. He’s providing a dignified reception to returning folks, recognizing the special skills they gained during their time here & calling them “anonymous heroes.” They will even be offered land to build a house. We may regret sending them back. Brilliant!!!

Are you averse to war? I think you might be. I have noticed your laments about needless death in Ukraine & “young handsome soldiers being killed. Young men, like my sons. On both sides. All over the battlefield”. I’m perplexed about the “handsome” part, but otherwise, I agree that WINTA!!!

I appreciate your extension of the emergency declaration over Burma & your recognition that “the situation in the country continues to pose an extraordinary threat to the US.” Does that mean you will extend protected status for Burmese residents in the country now & restart the resettlement of Karen refugees from Thailand? They are open to settling in rural parts of the country & could reinvigorate towns, like those in Marinette County, WI.

Katanning, 172 mi south-east of Perth, has become home to a thriving Karen community & it’s been a boon to the community. You are so good at selling things. I’m sure you could get locals to buy into the idea of enlivening their ailing towns with some new blood.

            BYBS,
