                  What’s the best way to communicate with you? Yesterday I used your 45office.com website which sent me receipts? Is this AI at work or are some people involved? Perhaps you have not yet appointed your Director of Presidential Correspondence, so the portal for the WH.gov letter submission is not yet operational. Since you don’t want snail mail, I suggest you provide an alternative. Don’t you want to know what the public cares about?

                  SoW, I’m sorry that you dismissed the Right Rev. Mariann Budde’s message to you at the interfaith service yesterday. I don’t think she hates you & I didn’t find her tone nasty. She was speaking her truth & sharing some of the principles from the Bible as she sees it. It’s her job to do that. I’m afraid that your post proved her point about the normalization of the “culture of contempt” which “threatens to destroy us.”

                  I encourage you to practice the principle that I often heard as a child, “if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.” If you felt compelled to comment on the service you could have been honest & said, “I have trouble sitting still in church & that service didn’t grab my attention.”

SoW, it seems that Mike Johnson grabbed your attention yesterday. According to the WP, his colleagues “say he is incapable of lying & his lawyerly background brings him armed with facts to a negotiation,” so you tune into what he has to say, especially since the GOP in the House is “more divided on policy issues than senators.” I’m curious to see what kind of bill you all come up with.

                  Are you sure it was a good idea to pardon those convicted of violence on Jan 6 after your VP said he didn’t think the violent offenders should be pardoned? Were you aware that “according to the U.S. Sentencing Commission, about two-thirds of defendants convicted of violent crimes are rearrested within eight years of their release?” Even if only a few of the “170 who were charged with using a deadly or dangerous weapon or seriously injuring an officer” gets violent again, you will be blamed for their crime. My info comes from Politico, so you’ll probably ignore it, but I am convinced you made a mistake.

                  How do you feel about getting honest feedback? How can I deliver it in a way that helps you know I see that of God in you & want you to be your best?

Re: Burma – the Rohingya are not being allowed to cross the border into Bangladesh & now have nowhere to turn. They are as desperate as the German Jews in the 1930s. They need our help. Please have mercy on them.
