My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            It saddens me that you & Jens Stoltenberg are celebrating the increased defense spending of NATO members. As I have been telling you, we don’t want countries, like Germany, to equip themselves. Something about their culture has led to a combative mentality. They recognized this after WWII, & we have pressured them to ignore their history. It’s like encouraging the children of alcoholics to drink with the logic that they are somehow immune to the disease that crippled their parents. My husband’s family is a clear illustration that line of thinking is flawed.

            Please stop pushing weapons on folks who would prefer not to have them!!!! WINTA

            Thanks for your new order about allowing undocumented spouses to apply for legal residency without having to leave the United States. It’s a step in the right direction. My quick look at the Migration Policy Institute website confirmed my hunch that immigration is a sticky wicket! They validated my speculation that we need immigrants to keep our economy “robust into the future.”

            Did you hear that 13 people had a plot to kill Gen. MAL? It was reported in “The Global New Light of Myanmar,” the junta’s news outlet?”

SPOW, it’s a terrible publication. Today’s edition has an article about how giant leeches are being exported to China to be processed into a medicinal powder. Their saliva contains Hirudin, an anti-coagulant. According to the article, “leeches inhabit in paddy fields, riverbanks & ponds & fertilizers & pesticides caused them dead.” Clearly, they need a better translator!

            How is your toe dexterity? My wellness group talked about it last week & I’m trying to develop mine. It’s supposed to help with balance & because it involves coordinating new muscles, it’s a brain stimulator also. See if you can lift your big toe all by itself. It’s harder than you might expect.
