My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            I couldn’t believe my ears this AM when I heard that you were waiving 26 laws to build DJT’s border wall in the Rio Grande Valley.  Laiken Jordahl, conservation advocate, & I are baffled about why you plan to bulldoze an impermeable barrier straight through the heart of the habitat of the ocelot. Didn’t you promise to NOT to build the wall? Please reconsider!

            I was sorry to hear that Commander has been biting people at the WH & has had to be removed. I encourage you to get a small mutt from the pound. They tend to be friendlier than German Shepards.

Good news from Burma today. Their men’s sepaktakraw team won the gold medal in the Asian Games. Sepaktakraw is just one of the sports that involve kicking a small rattan ball. Another sport looks like hackey sack, with the objective to kick the ball into a net hanging from the ceiling. It’s nice to see folks finding some joy amidst the tensions in Burma.

            Who do you hope becomes Speaker? I prefer Steve Scalise to Jim Jordan. It might be interesting to see what Elise Stefanik would do. I worry about those with loyalties to 45, but given the GOP base these days, that might be unavoidable.

            Thanks for your efforts to relieve folks of their student loan debts. I hope your people are working hard to help folks avoid taking on that kind of debt in the first place, so we don’t get into this mess in the future.
