My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            I am still a bit discombobulated with the heat we’re having. Last night we lost our electricity for a couple of hours & it threw me off. I was planning to grade a bunch of papers but was not able to do so. I’m not sure when I’m going to catch up, but such is life.

            Have you peeked behind the cover that is hiding BHO & MLRO’s portraits? Do you know who painted them? I hope the portraits capture their dazzling smiles

According to the WP, today’s unveiling will be full of subtext. Tyler Pager says that despite your apparent Bromance over the years, “tensions linger between your camps.” The one that probably irks you the most is that BHO didn’t endorse your candidacy until you won the primaries. I hope you have forgiven him.

I don’t know why TP wants to sour the event by bringing up past transgressions. No relationship is perfect & you, two, don’t have that much in common. I’m sure you’ll tease BHO as is your style. He’ll probably tease you back. Everyone will laugh & all will be right with the world for a moment.

            I am off to learn how to be the department chair today. I am looking forward to learning more about the proper way to grant paid leaves. I don’t think I’m cut out to be an administrator. I’d rather teach math to 5th graders.

            I was discouraged to see that Burma’s military is getting discounted diesel from Russia. I’m not sure there’s anything you can do about it, but it’s upsetting to see that violence is being fueled by cheap gas.
