My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

How are things on Kiawah Island? Are you basking in your recent successes? Your buddy, Dick Harpootlian, says you will be taking a “victory lap in your mind.” Al Gore opines that the Inflation Reduction Act is a “critical turning point,” “crosses a threshold,” & builds “momentum” to decarbonize the US. I hope he’s right.

The NYPost indicates that you are staying at a fancy spot, belonging to Maria Allwin, with 9 bedrooms. Are you planning to use all of that space? I hope you find some joy in the presence of little Beau who melted hearts as he got on & off AF1. What a cutie pie!

            As you shower him with affection & attention, please think of the kids in Burma who are living in tents & huts, fleeing shelling & scrounging for food to eat. Even those who haven’t left home do not have access to education. Aid workers are risking their lives to smuggle $$ into the country to provide food for the displaced villagers.
