My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            I am holding you in the Light today as you weather the storm you created for yourself by saying, “For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power.” It’s too bad that you said those 9 words in front of the whole world, for everyone, including VVP to hear.

            I’m sure you were speaking from the heart & telling the truth, but in this case, you shot yourself in the foot.

            One of my Friends teaches a lesson in our First Day School centered on the quote, “Before you speak ask yourself if what you are going to say is true, is kind, is necessary, is helpful. If the answer is no, maybe what you are about to say should be left unsaid.” BrainyQuote.com attributes this to a guy named, Bernard Meltzer. I don’t know who he is, but I think you need to ponder this the next time you go off script.

            In my assessment, your statement only meets one of the criteria & I’m sure you wish you could take it back. I’m afraid that I haven’t heard the rest of the speech, which is too bad since those who got a chance to hear or read the whole thing say it was an important speech.

            I’m afraid that being a self-ascribed “gaffe machine” has harmed your objective to find peace.

            I invite you to join a meditation group so you can learn to discipline your thoughts so that kind of thing doesn’t occur to you, let alone come out of your mouth.

            Friends would remind you that VVP has that of God in him & we should not wish him harm. We will hold him in the Light, along with Min Aung Hlaing & hope that they see the error in their ways.
