My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            Thanks for being an exemplary Mourner-In-Chief. It’s unfortunate that we need such a person from time to time, but such is life. I so appreciated hearing you say to the leaders in FL, “we’re here for you as One Nation…Tell me what you need.” The Miami Herald editors noted that it was “breathtaking” when you put your hand on Gov. DeSantis shoulder. They wrote, “It’s an unconscious and uninhibited show of a shared humanity. It’s a natural, but still remarkable, gesture that we hope will set tone for the challenging steps ahead.”

            I hope your speech to the teachers goes well today. Please echo NEA President, Becky Pringle’s, emphasis on teaching the TRUTH. You might build on her evocation of Sojourner Truth (ST) in her key note speech where she noted that ST was “guided by a bright light shining from within.” Don’t you think that every kid in America should know about ST & the courage she exhibited to speak truth to power as she enlightened the nation with her conviction “to travel up an' down the land, showin' the people their sins, an' bein' a sign unto them.”

            Enjoy your visit with the Dodgers today. Please tell their manager not to play Trevor Bauer (TB) on Sunday. TB is being investigated for sexual abuse & it would be best to prevent him from having the spot light at this time.

            Finally, please echo the UN’s call to the Burmese generals to release Aung San Sui Kyi & Win Myint.
