Friend DJT,

            It’s a happy day! I got some tickets to visit Yosemite in August. It’ll be wonderful to be there in the summer with a limited number of visitors. I had to pounce on the Recreation.gov website at 7AM so I could get the tickets. Have you been to Yosemite? If not, I encourage you to go. It’s magnificent. I’ve been there at least 10 times, many of them chaperoning 13-year-olds to make sure no one was in the wrong tent. Every time I go, I marvel at the beauty of the Earth and the wisdom of John Muir and others who realized we had to make the most spectacular spots accessible to the public. Please do all you can to keep Yosemite pristine.

            I’m so sorry that you are having trouble with Russia. You may admire VVP & enjoy his company, but as I have told you many times, he is not to be trusted. The Russians have a habit of getting too big for their britches & the US has often had to help them keep their hands to themselves. VVP would love us to back off so he can reannex every neighboring territory where some folks speak Russian. You can’t turn a blind eye to this bounty thing. I really don’t think it’s fake news.

            On a happier note, isn’t it great that Gov. Tate Reeves signed the bill to change the MS flag? In discussing this historic occasion, he noted that “healing must be done neighbor to neighbor.” I think that’s a great mantra for this extraordinary time. We need to take care of each other by being mindful of the toxins we might be spreading whether they be CV germs or offensive language. Please celebrate the new flag that folks of MS will be getting soon.
