Today is supposed to be the Whole Earth Festival (WEF), UCD’s annual love fest where creative expression rules the day & people paint faces, dogs & sidewalks to celebrate the beauty of our planet. Revshankz, AKA, GenX Cyber Preacher, will be hosting a livestream WEF event today, in case you want to get a taste for it. We all grieve for the loss of such events & long to get them back. Hopefully we’ll have WEF in 2021.
I was sorry to hear that Katie Miller has CV. Do you think her new hubby, SM has it too? I’m sure you know where I’m going with this.
I certainly hope that those nonagenarians you were with yesterday were not exposed to CV. We only have 300,000 WWII vets left in this country & 245 die every day. I’d hate to think that attending the V-E Day commemoration would hasten the demise of the 8 vets who joined you at the wreath laying yesterday.
It would be especially unfortunate if we were to lose Gregory Melikian who was chosen in 1945 by DDE to broadcast the Nazi’s surrender because being the youngest communications specialist, he could tell the story of the victory for the rest of his life. As you know, he’s a real estate developer, just like you, & believes that being a polyglot promotes peace. We’re lucky he has lived a long & prosperous life, & hopefully, the social distancing you were practicing at yesterday’s event worked. It would have been even better if you had worn a mask.
Do you think wearing a mask will diminish your stature? It doesn’t have to. EJFM looks quite dignified in his. I encourage you to embrace the opportunity to get some positive publicity & commission some fashion designers to develop the POTUS mask. Then you’d have several cool masks to choose from & you could market the masks & make some $$ for your campaign. You can make masking up the latest expression of masculinity. Creative responses to extraordinary times is what we need so go for it.
