My dear Friend & President, DJT,

            This will have to be short, because I spent my DJT time developing a corona quiz for my 5th grade Zoom team. My favorite question is:

Antibodies

a)     Are Ninja warriors

b)    Are cells in your blood

c)     Live in your mouth and eat your food

d)    Are aliens from outerspace

I believe that understanding helps fight anxiety, so if the kids know that lots of smart people are studying antibodies, they might feel better about this situation. When you talk about CV, please keep emphasizing that the best scientists around the world are working on tests & vaccines to help get us out of this extraordinary situation.

            I hope things go well at the WWII Memorial today marking the 75th Anniversary of V-E Day. I hope that the vets don’t contract CV on their journeys to the event. Watching Frank Devita talking about his experience on D-Day at age 19 brought tears to my eyes. He reported being reluctant to open the door of the Higgins boat knowing that the guys in the front wouldn’t make it into the water, and shared his sorrow of visiting the cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer where 9388 soldiers were laid to rest.

            It will be so tempting to get close to the vets today, but please model social distancing to model appropriate CV practice.
