My dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,
Did you see the speech by the Queen (EAMW)? I wish we had someone like her in the USA to reassure us that “better days will return.” She was incredibly steady for a 93-year old. Her voice did not waiver, her head did not shake. She’s a rock!
DLB is almost as soothing as EAMW. I’m sure it was hard for her to stay away from her grand-baby when she spiked a 105 degree fever this weekend, but DLB resisted the urge to treat her loved one to preserve your health. You are lucky to have her!
Please express your concerns to the people of St John the Baptist Parish in LA. They’ve got the highest per capita CV death rate in the country. Do you agree with the Guardian that 50 years of nitrogen dioxide coming from the Denka Petrochemical plant may have something to do with the high mortality rate. The community needs some encouragement, so please acknowledge their challenges and send some help their way.
Speaking of helping vulnerable people, I’m proud to report that the city of Sacramento has set up some RVs at Cal Expo & has secured a bunch of hotel rooms for our unsheltered brethren. They’ve also been putting up hand-washing stations at the encampments around town.
It’s great to see the Cal Expo parking lot being put to good use. The place is on its way to bankruptcy because people don’t come to the state fair the way they used to. It was supposed to be the venue for the High Times Cannabis Cup on April 19 where MJ producers compete for things like the “Best Sativa Concentrate,” but that’s been canceled. The MJ business folks must be bummed. Even though dispensaries are “essential,” folks have stopped buying MJ because they’ve lost their jobs.
I’m worried about what I am hearing about Japan, but that will have to wait for another letter.
HYITL,
RCA
