My dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

            Happy Easter. May we all rejoice that Jesus’ message of love and forgiveness persists. May we do our best to follow his lead in turning the other cheek, reaching out to the sick, the poor and the unpopular and putting others before ourselves. May we find the joy in each day and keep hope alive.

            Speaking of keeping things alive, please keep the Post Office alive. I like to get mail. I like the idea that Americans, no matter how remote their home may be, can get mail. I like knowing that my mail carrier will come consistently. As you know the USPS does not get tax dollars for operating expenses and they’re having trouble right now because people aren’t going to the PO. We are so lucky that Post Master General agreed to postpone her Jan 2020 retirement so that the USPS Board of Governors find the right person to take her place. The 635,000 USPS workers are ESSENTIAL! 19 have died from CV & those who are operating the desks at our POs are putting their lives on the line every day. So please, on this day of resurrection, consider resurrecting our beloved USPS.
