My dear Friend and POTUS, DJT,
My mantra for the week is, “keep calm, keep clean and keep smiling.” I know that you are very focused on keeping clean. According to Politico you are the “Purell President” and shame people for coughing in your vicinity, so keeping clean won’t be a problem for you. Since I love dirt, I have a robust microbic ecosystem in & on my body so keeping clean will take some effort. I am also trying to stop touching my face. I haven’t noticed whether you do that much. While I have to work on the clean part, you need to work on the calm part.
While you would like folks on Wall Street to keep cool, you might admit to your own challenges in that department. Perhaps you could get on TV and lead us all in a national meditation. You could then have Anthony Fehr and some of his virologist colleagues come on and educate us all about the cytokine storm which can happen when our immune systems go in overdrive to fight the virus. Some facts would be a welcome addition to the media attention around coronavirus (CV).
Will you be shaking hands with President Duque when you welcome him to the WH today? I encourage you to share my mantra with him. As you know he is just barely holding on to power & folks in Colombia have been agitated for the past several months, ever since indigenous leader Cristina Bautista was killed by FARC dissidents in Cauca. The Colombian situation reminds me of Afghanistan, decades of civil war fueled by drug trade where women are fighting for peace. At least in Colombia women have become elected officials who are beginning to make a difference. I encourage you to consider inviting Bogota Mayor Claudia Lopez and her wife to the WH to recognize her efforts.
As usual, I feel led to remind you not to sell weapons to your buddies.
BYBS,
RCA
