My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,          

            I have a song in my head – Lynn Anderson’s “I beg your pardon, I never promised you a rose garden…” I’ve got pardons on my mind because you are thinking about giving them to yourself, RWLG, Jared & your kids. I am wondering what you all might need to be pardoned for. Are you hiding something? If you do pardon yourself, Doyle McManus from the LAT claims that you will be doing JRB a favor by enabling him to avoid the awkward situation of deciding what to do about your improprieties.

BHO granted 212 pardons and 1,715 commutations & you’ve only granted 44 so far. You have some catching up to do.

            What’s up with you & WPB? I thought you were BFFs. Maybe you still are. He is just doing his job, telling the truth & trying to maintain his status as a reputable lawyer. You can’t hold that against him. You gave him an impossible task so it’s no surprise that his investigation of voter fraud failed. Usually, investigations happen when a crime has occurred. You & I have watched enough TV to know how it goes. There’s a dead body so the cops investigate. A diamond is missing, so there’s a search. A house burns down so they try to find out why it happened. If a crime has not occurred, it’s hard to investigate – so I’m not sure what the folks in the Justice Department were supposed to do beyond checking in with election officials to see if there was anything amiss.

            I hope you can get over your disappointment with WPB. We need all the friends we can get. As Lynn Anderson sings, “Along with the sunshine, there's gotta be a little rain some time.” So pardon WPB along with everyone else who may have transgressed. It’s tme to move on – don’t you think?
