My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

            What’s on the agenda for today’s cabinet meeting? Will it be a Holiday party? Will you be talking about the stimulus package? Are you going to recognize the 7 Secretaries who have persisted through all 4 years of your administration? I’m sure you know that you’ve had more turnover in your cabinet than the last 5 POTUSs. I’m not convinced that it’s healthy for an organization to have such a revolving door in its upper echelons. Research published in Organizational Science supports this hunch. Messermith et al. found “Top management team departures have deleterious effects on subsequent firm performance.” So, as you move back into the for-profit sector you might want to adopt a new business style.

            I hope that Gina Haspel will be at the meeting today & can provide some insight into the cybersecurity breach I wrote to you about on Mon. Please make sure she gets on camera so your QAnon fans will stop circulating the rumor that she was killed in a Special Forces raid in Germany retrieving a server used to control Dominion voting machines. It’s hard for me to wrap my head around the logic of that story. Do you get it?

            Please be nice to Elaine Chao even though her husband has acknowledged that we will have a new President. Maybe you are always nice to her. I trust that your friendship is NOT based on some kind of arrangement where she shares the profits of her family’s Chinese shipping business with you.

            Will WPB be there? Have you decided on his replacement? I wonder what would happen if you left the Attorney General Office vacant for a month. We might survive.
