My dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

            I’m glad that you were well enough to tweet 12 hours ago, but kind of worried that you haven’t tweeted since then. Hopefully that means that you are resting & letting those potions in your IV bags work their magic.  The LA Times reports that your antibody cocktail, REGN-COV2, is still in clinical trials so there’s a possibility that it isn’t too effective. We know that remdesivir can shorten the course of the disease, but only severely ill patients get it. Apparently, it works by preventing the virus particles from producing their replicating enzymes. The LAT speculates that you are in the hospital so that you can get some convalescent plasma, too. I know how uncomfortable it can be to have all of those IVs in your arm. I hope you are finding that tolerable.

            There’s lots of speculation about what will happen next. I am refraining from trying to guess. I have learned that you are completely unpredictable. I wouldn’t be surprised if you walked out of the hospital tomorrow, & said, “see, CV isn’t such a big deal. I don’t know what the fuss is about.” I’ve heard people speculate that your sickness is a hoax. I know that you would never miss a rally with your adoring fans to spend time in the hospital with tubes coming out of your arms, so I believe that you are sick, & the aggressive treatment you are getting suggests you might be very sick.
