My dear friend and president, DJT,
I recommend that you avoid impromptu press conferences as you go from the WH to your helicopter. The Guardian says you hit a "new level of incoherence" yesterday, especially when you claimed to be the "Chosen One." I watched that bit on video and assure you that in context it's not nearly as bad as it sounds out of context, but you know that the newspapers are in the business of selling their product so they're going to sensationalize things. Your presidency has given the press a huge boost, even though you think they're "fake." I read the news more now than I ever have, and I think many Americans are doing the same.
It's great that you are working with EDD to help disabled vets get the loan forgiveness that they are entitled to. I understand that the application process is so onerous that many don't bother with it. Fixing that is a great idea! I hope you will work with her to help many others have their student loans forgiven. Apparently, the Department of Ed. is mismanaging the Public Service Loan Forgivenessprogram and are getting sued by the AFT. The mess started before EDD's time, but she's in a position to fix it, so I hope she'll double down on her efforts.
I'm sure you'll have fun giving Bob Cousy his Presidential Medal of Freedom today. He sounds like your kind of guy - a renegade, playing basketball with a dramatic flair, razzle, dazzle - tricky behind the back passes - defying authorities by playing his own way. Will Bill Russell be there today? Apparently, Bob and Bill were quite the duo on the court back in the day, and Bob regrets that he didn't do more to support Bill in his fight against racism.
I suggest that you concentrate on Bob at the ceremony today and only field questions about him so you can avoid saying something that might be misconstrued.
Best,
RCA
