Is it true that you were "explosive" at the Cabinet Meeting yesterday? While that was a headline for a YouTube video of the meeting, I couldn't find the explosive moment in the transcript. I didn't have time to read every word, and skimmed over all of Larry Kudlow's remarks about the economy. We all know the president does not control the economy, but you can go ahead and try to take credit for it, if that makes you feel good. I also saw a lot of talk about security at schools, drugs, mental health and trade. I was happy to hear you ask Jeff Sessions to pursue a law suit against drug companies for dumping opioids into some communities. I was sorry to hear you and Ryan Zinke continue to conflate water policies and the fires here in CA. Misinforming the public should be avoided, don't you think?
I hope you enjoy your visit to Howard Lorber's house in the Hamptons. I'm sure you realize that closing the Sunshine Highway is going to wreak havoc. Did you really have to do that on a Friday afternoon, when New Yorkers are trying to get to the beach? While you're there, please stop by my brother's establishment, Estia's Little Kitchen in Sag Harbor. He's got a big garden on the premises and uses the produce in his dishes. He's the consummate host and he'll make you feel right at home.
Thanks for canceling the military parade. We don't need to show off our military might. Our excessive spending in that department speaks for itself.
