My Dear Friend and President, DJT,
Are you feeling that your vacation was too short? I know I am. I only went swimming a couple of times and didn’t even have a chance to go on the wedding walk, a 45-minute tour of the property retracing the steps of my 1996 nuptials. Since I am here solo, it’s only fitting that I skip that.
So, you are off to Utica today, home of the famous Boilmaker 15K Road Race. Apparently, it is very popular, so much so that the Road Racing Hall of Fame is located in Utica. Maybe Rep. Claudia Tenney will take you there on the way to today’s fund raiser. You might want to give away a few discounted tickets to that affair. Some of the locals are miffed that it takes $1000 to get a seat.
Claudia has her hands full in her race against Anthony Brindisi. You might suggest that she avoid comments like the one she made in February after the Florida shooting about mass murderers being Democrats and heed the words of Pres. Andrew Johnson, who was quoted in today’s Observer-Dispatch as saying, “Let us resolve that the country be above party. He who forgets country, to be carried off by party bias, is unfit to mingle in political concerns.”
My mother is calling me so I better get going.
Best,
