My Dear Friend and President, DJT,
I hope you enjoy your day in the Great Plains today. You should take a minute to go to Falls Park in Sioux Falls during your visit to the city this afternoon. I was there last year, right before the eclipse. The falls are right in the middle of downtown. I would call them stair-step falls where the river drops 3 - 5 feet every 10 yards - quite picturesque. According to the Angus Leader, many folks in South Dakota are looking forward to your visit. Governor Daugaard will be meeting you at the plane to encourage you to implement year-round E-15 fuel and to remind you that his farmers are not happy about the tariffs. Some folks are bummed out that the Balloons over Sioux Falls event had to be canceled so as not to interfere with your airspace. Some folks are more excited about Cher's upcoming concert.
I am not sure why you are bothering to go to SD to campaign for a gubernatorial candidate. Krisit Noem may be in a tight(ish) race with Billie Sutton, but don't you have more pressing matters? Some folks say that you go to rallies out in the hinterlands when things get tough at the WH. Is that true? I can't blame you for wanting a shot of admiration. It must be nice to have 6000 adoring fans screaming your name.
I just wish you wouldn't be so harsh in your speeches. You don't need to call Democrats "haters". Montana Senator Jon Tester, who you were campaigning against last night in Billings, was nice enough to put out a full-page ad in Montana newspapers welcoming you to the state. He's not being a hater.
Have a good one,
RCA
