My Dear Friend and President, DJT,
I'm sorry that you can't trust the people in the WH. It must be creepy knowing that someone in your midst wrote that piece in the NYT. I think it's extraordinary that Dean Banquet would print it, but we are living in extraordinary times. As I noted yesterday, if you get angry, you will only end up hurting yourself. Blowing up the WH and going on a witch hunt may reveal things you don't want to know. My advice, keep calm and carry on.
It looks like you had a congenial meeting with Sheikh Sabah yesterday. Did you, two, figure out how to help Qatar? Did you talk about how Kuwait might be able to help out all of the displaced people who may flee Idlib if Syria tries to take it back? Did you find out what Kuwait's deal with Amazon is all about?
I am so full of questions today! I have a few more about India. Did you see the wonderful photo of James Mattis and Mike Pompeo talking to their counterparts, Sushma Swaraj and Nirmala Sitharaman about India/US relations? I guess Sushma and Nirmala have been going on a buying spree and we're not happy about it. They purchased some S-400 long range surface missiles from Russia and some oil from Iran. Next they might get a loan from China to build some roads. Those ladies have some clout and I doubt they'll let those big boys push them around. I wish I could be in the room for that meeting.
You've got a nice event planned with some Rabbis today to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, and then you are off to the Big Sky State. Try to relax and enjoy.
Hang in there,
RCA
