My Dear Friend and President, DJT,
It's always scary at this time of year as the darkness grows, the sun's rays cast long shadows and the trees turn brown. This year's Halloween season is scarier than most. Can you please help chase away the fear?
Here are some tips on how you could do that:
1) Welcome the caravan. Folks who walk hundreds of miles to find a better life are showing persistence, resilience and grit. These are the traits we are trying to teach in school. Let's celebrate people who demonstrate strength of character and put them to work!
2) Sing the praises of women running for office. These females are passionate and ready to make a difference. We should all be excited by their courage.
3) Promote multicultural interactions among youth. It's time for some deep restoration and healing. Teens are so creative and energetic. Let's tap into that to send a message of love and hope.
4) Stop promoting violence. Your suggestion to have armed guards in synagogues to prevent future shootings is rather misguided. Please remember that you can't kill the Devil with a gun or a sword. Being mean and nasty is the lazy way out to deal with problems. It's time for a different approach.
Quakers sing a song about Geoge Fox that includes this line, "There's a Light that is shining in the heart of man, a Light that is shining since the world began." We need that Light right now, so it's time to let yours shine through!!!!
