DJT,
How's your whirlwind rally tour going? The Chattanooga Free Press said your rally in TN was "raucous." How do you do raucous 2 or 3 times a day. I can manage about 5 minutes of "raucous" and then I need a break. The closest I came to raucous yesterday was singing "Magic Penny" with the kids at First Day School while we counted our UNICEF donations. By the way, we were thrilled that we collected over $200, enough to buy two bikes to deliver medicines in rural Africa. Here in Davis, CA, we like bikes so we are psyched!
So, what's your impression of Marsha Blackburn? TIME says she's not "well liked." They didn't say why but they did point out that her Senate race against Phil Bredesen has tightened up. Should be interesting to see how it turns out.
Folks are wondering why you are rallying in Cleveland today when it's the most Democratic city in the state and Sherrod Brown has the Senate race locked up. Cleveland.com speculates that your team has decided that it is imperative that Mike DeWine beats Richard Cordray in the governor's race for your 2020 bid for re-election. I am impressed that you all think so far ahead. I find it odd that both of those candidates are so similar and neither one is very exciting. At least Cordray was a Jeopardy champion. Other than that, it seems that they are both somewhat moderate, old white guys. Even if DeWine wins, I'm not sure how many votes he's going to be delivering in 2020.
Will you be voting tomorrow? I look forward to it. We've got 11 propositions on the ballot. It looks like Dianne Feinstein and Gavin Newsom will be winners. I am not thrilled with either one of them but I'm not thrilled with you either (no offense), and I am somehow managing to live through your term.
Have fun today,
RCA
PS - According to the NYT North Dakota soybean farmers are having a rough go of it. That might help Heidi Heitkamp pull off a surprise win. I hope so.
