It looks like you are laying low today after your big trip to France. I'm sure it was draining to visit the cemeteries and have so many reminders of the tragedy of war. Did you see David Nakamura's piece in the WP about your trip? HIs "takeaway" is that you are turning away from the world. I hope that's not true. I like to think that you were doing your best to "not do anything to overshadow the dignity of the remembrance ceremonies."
What did you think about the demonstration of the Femen at the Arc de Triomphe? Apparently, one topless protester approached your limo with FAKE PEACEMAKERS written across her torso. It sounds like the kind of thing my daughter might do. She'd love to be part of the "naked shock troops of feminism" "using her body to protest the patriarchy." You just might encounter her at the WH someday. Maybe you'll encounter me, too, but people will not be as excited about seeing me topless.
Speaking of peacemaking, I understand that a new report just came out suggesting that Kim Jong Un is still busy with his nuclear weapon efforts at the base in Sakkanmol. It's too bad those little spy satellites developed in Silicon Valley aren't up and running yet to keep an eye on North Korean activities. Maybe Mike P can get on that.
I'm intrigued by efforts to get Mount Kumgang set up to receive South Korean visitors to the North for family reunions. Apparently, you insulted lots of folks on the Korean Pennisula when you noted, “They do nothing without our approval.” Are you sure you want to send that message to the world?
