My dear Friend and president, DJT,
I'm sorry I sent yesterday's letter late in the day AFTER you sent your VERY nasty tweet telling your detractors to "go back where they came from." Perhaps if you had seen my letter early in the day you would have refrained and then people like Thersa May wouldn't have to tell the world that your language was "completely unacceptable."
You really don't want to mess with those women. They are in a different league. When you tell Rashida Tlaib (RHT) to return to her homeland, those young voters in Michigan get mad and that does not bode well for you. According to the Detriot News, "Voter turnout quadrupled at Michigan State University’s on-campus precincts, jumping from 826 voters in 2014 to 3,496, according to the East Lansing City Clerk's office." You beat Hillary by just 11,000 votes. Those riled up college students could make a difference in 2020.
By the way, where would you like RHT to go? Her parents are Palestinian. Her dad spent some time in Nicaragua before arriving in the US to work at a Ford factory. RHT is the first of his 14 kids and she was born in Detroit. I doubt she'd be welcome in Ramallah, where according to Jacob Høigilt, the Fatah is led by a neopatriarchy that's not friendly to women.
On a lighter note, I am curious about which products will be featured at the Made in America Showcase today. The only news I could find was from TwinCities.com which reported that 3M will be representing MN. Apparently, they will be highlighting their "WorldSkills USA team that works to advance skilled trades and its support for STEM education in local communities." They have wrapped their building in a cool "design installation" to encourage curiosity. They want to spark "wonder" so we'll all buy more post-it notes to use while reading our science texts. Maybe they'll have some new kind of tape at today's Showcase. I can't wait to find out.
Please, remember to refrain from nasty tweeting!!
