My Dear Friend and President, DJT,
Sorry I missed our letter yesterday. I had to get up before the crack of dawn and drive to Sierra Friends Center for a meeting. I had a great day taking a walk around the property and visiting my favorite store, Peaceful Valley Farms. I am here with Quakers from all round Northern CA for our quarterly meeting where we check in with one another. Last night we had silent worship for an hour and a half. You should have been there! One of the messages was about seeking Truth rather than Wealth and Power. You might consider changing your priorities. It could help you find some inner peace.
How is your trip to AZ going? Isn't it wonderful that so many of the candidates there are women? Martha McSally, former fighter pilot; Krysten Simena, with her childhood of economic hardship; Hiral Tipirneni, emergency room doctor & Indian immigrant; Debbie Lesko, survivor of domestic violence; Ann Kirkpatrick, lawyer fighting for the rights of tribal nations; and Anita Malik, Indian-American tech entrepeneur. So much talent! I hope you get to spend some time with these wonderful folk and give them some words of encouragement.
I was troubled by your comments about the migrant caravan making its way up to the USA. Please remember what many American moms teach their youngsters, "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." That approach has always worked for me.
Best,
RCA
