My Dear Friend and President, DJT,
I'm still high from yesterday's lesson in Sacto. The 22 5th graders were receptive. Teacher, first year rookie, Mr. Guillen, has established classroom community so they respectfully listened to me and to each other, stayed on task and successfully built complex polyhedron. It's magical when kids get engaged in intellectual work in the classroom!!! You should stop by and visit some day.
None of the events on your schedule appeared in my Google searches so I can only speculate about what your day might entail. Your "Cutting the Red Tape - Unleashing Economic Freedom" event with "workers" has a catchy title. Did you know that "red tape" comes from the string that used to tie up government papers to make them look official? Calvin Coolidge replaced the expensive red tape with cheaper white string and saved some $$. According to Frank Hill's piece in the North State Journal, Coolidge's agenda included, "Tax cuts; economic growth; budget restraint; debt repayment... do it again and again and again." Frank suggests that you need to work on the budget restraint part if you want to balance the budget. Is that your goal? Maybe you'll discuss in your cabinet meeting today.
Have you heard about the NPC trolling campaign on Twitter where misguided techies are giving out false voter info? This effort confirms my hypothesis that some of your fans are following in the footsteps of the Dartmouth Review in getting their jollies about making liberals mad. I think it's a power thing. I am learning not to take the bait.
Hope you enjoy all of your events today,
RCA
PS - From my reading of today's article in the NYT, there's no way Jamal Khashoggi's assassins were "rogues." The authors wrote that the presence of a forensic doctor "who specializes in autopsies suggests the operation may have had a lethal intent from the start," and that doc was not the kind to take orders from "rogues."
