My dear Friend and president, DJT,

            I hope you have fun with the Black Knights at the WH today when you honor them for defeating Navy this year. Be sure to give special recognition to Kelvin Hopkins for his phenomenal QB work passing and rushing. It's too bad he'll have to spend two years doing his obligatory service before he can go pro. Maybe you can make an exception for him.

            Did you find this morning's news as depressing as I did? Your tariffs on China have sent the stock markets into a dive. The UN says that "the decline in biodiversity is eroding 'the foundations of our economies, livelihoods, food security, health and quality of life worldwide.'" Bolton is sending USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Groupto threaten Iraq and you are tweeting about how the Kentucky Derby disqualification has something to do with political correctness. That last one is depressing to me because once again you are tweeting about something that really is not in your purview. 

         There were two rays of hope in all of that. First, we have a new royal in the world and he's biracial and American. Maybe he'll become president of the USA someday. Be sure to call the Queen and congratulate her on her latest great-grandchild. Second, according to the UN report “it is not too late to make a difference”on climate change. All it takes is some courage. 

            I encourage you to consider changing your allegiances and get on board with a greener agenda. It would make the world a better place!
