My dear Friend and president, DJT,
We are both experiencing some cloudy weather on this spring Saturday. I suspect that you'll head out to the links anyway, just as I will head out to my garden. There's so much to do in the garden at this time of year. I still have lots of things to plant and plenty of weeds to pull, irrigation to install. I could spend the whole day out there and still have more to do. That's life though - always something else to do.
You have a lot on your plate - selling Jared's immigration plan, reigning in JRB so he doesn't start a war with Iran, dealing with SM so Kevin McAleenan will not quit being the Acting Homeland Security Director. I am sure you have other things, too. At least, you removed the steel tariffs. Now you won't have all of those manufacturers bugging you.
Do you know Norman Lear? What an interesting guy. I just watched a PBS Special about him and learned that he used to tell a story about how his grandfather wrote a letter to the President once a month with the salutation, "My dearest, darling, Mr. President." It turns out the letters were being written by his friend's grandpa. Norman repeated the story because he liked the idea of someone giving the president friendly advice and encouragement. Maybe I'll contact Norman and tell him about these letters. Do you think he'd enjoy them?
Have a good day,
RCA
