Once again I am in a hurry. Today it's because we are springing forward and lost an hour. That always throws me off. Does it throw you off?

How was your golf game with Lexi Thompson yesterday. She's quite the phenom isn't she, winning an LPGA tournament at age 16? I understand that she's not into politics so she just talks to you about golf. Playing with her must be a nice diversion for you.

I hope you get a chance to do some homework on the China trade deal. The NYT editors worry that you might acceptan "ephemeral victory" and go along with XJ's promise to buy some soybeans. They suggest that you need to team up with some other countries to make sure that the Chinese don't end up dominating the world. It's all so complicated- don't you think? I suggest that you listen closely to some PhDs who study the matter day and night rather than trusting your gut. I'm not convinced that your gut can handle such complex cuisine.

I'm sure you saw the WP piece, The 10 personas of Donald Trump, which attempts to provide "a road map to understanding the 45th president’s id." As usual it is full of clever writing including calling you, "an unconventional politician who drives opponents to madness and acolytes to glee." Ashley Parker and Philip Rucker unpack that crazy speech that you gave to the CPAC last weekend. You have left a big impression on them. The piece is the most popular "read" in the paper today so we are all trying hard to understand you. Maybe someday we will.
