My dear Friend and President, DJT,
How did the "Buy American" gathering go yesterday? I could only find one photo on the internet. I can guess who the guys in the hardhats were but I wondered about the lady in the red dress. I don't think she's a steel worker.
Voluntary preferential procurement of American products sounds like a good idea. I try to buy Made in the USA when I can. Don't you think you should adopt that policy for the art work that you put up in the White House? How about persuading Melania to buy Made in America dresses? Doing so would set a great example for the rest of us.
You were busy yesterday making proclamations, announcements and orders! I'm glad that you are back in action. Did you enjoy your interview with the NYT? It's nice that you love your job and I was happy to know that you don't need money. I hope you'll count your blessings.
I was disappointed to see that our nuclear treaty with Russia is a bust. I encourage you to call your buddy, Vlad, and make a deal. Nuclear weapons are expensive and he'd be so much better off if he used his resources to benefit his people. I'm not sure why we are bothering with nuclear weapons when the threat to cyber space is looming.
I'm sorry that you have already given up hope that Congress can figure out a border security plan. Where's your team spirit?
It's too bad that it will be raining for your visit to MaraLago this weekend. Will you play golf anyway? We're supposed to get a big rain storm in Davis today so I have to decide whether or not to ride my bike to campus. Should I be a shero today or just stay dry? Let's both go out and sing in the rain and laugh our cares away.
Have a good one,
