My Dear Friend and President, DJT,

         Please help me understand the 3 Bills you signed recently to support tribal sovereignty. I noticed that one of them “takes into trust for the benefit of the Lytton Rancheria of California certain land owned by the tribe in Sonoma County, California.” That doesn’t make sense to me. Why should the feds take over land that the tribe already owns? “Gaming is prohibited” on this land so this must not have to do with casinos. Why does politics always have to be so complicated?

            Bret Stephens writing in today’s NYT says that the watchword for the 2020 election should be “soap.” He suggests that most folks, including GOPers, are concerned by what you say – 53% are sometimes embarrassed & 47% are confused.

            So let’s simplify and purify so we can get on with things like improving our roads.
