My dear Friend and President, DJT,
I saw some photos of you at your speech in Pittsburgh yesterday. All the folks on the stage were clapping and laughing on cue. Do really they need the protection of those hard hats and safety vests just to listen to you? I hope the protester you taunted was wearing their protective gear. You may think you are just being funny, but when you say, "Don't hurt him," with sarcasm in your voice, some of your fans feel like you want them to do so. I know you would be mortified if they did.
I hear that Roger Penske (RSP) will be getting the Presidential Medal of Freedom today. When I googled "Penske Trump" I expected to find that he was one of you big donors who liked to hobnob at your clubs. Instead I found a 1988 piece from the WP that compared the two of you, noting that you were a "philosopher king" while RSP labored in the shadows. Based on what the article said, I think you need to invite RSP to run the WH. Apparently, he is super organized and works all the time. He knows how to set up joint ventures and that prowess might help you get something done with the Dems in the House. We really need that infrastructure investment $$ you promised and, with his Indy 500 fame and trucking company, RSP would be a great person to sell everyone on the idea that we need better roads! He says, "I have never relied on government to make my business better, and I'm not counting on them to make it worse" and is neutral when it comes to politics so people might trust him. I encourage you to give it some thought.
How wonderful that you will be celebrating Diwali at the WH today! As you do so, perhaps you can talk with your guests about ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’. It's the idea that the whole world is one family. I hope that celebrating the victory of Light over darkness will bring you some peace of mind.
Best,
RCA
