My dear Friend and President, DJT,
My motto for the day, "Less is more." Don't say too much. Don't buy too much. Don't drink too much. Don't tweet too much. Don't eat too much.
Please share this motto with your friend, JMM. As you know, he got carried away in his press conference and said something he shouldn't have. He said it with such conviction and bravado that his efforts to take it back aren't going over. You were kind to sing his praises at the ribbon cutting ceremony yesterday. Please be nice to him today.
Speaking of which, you were your most charming self at that event. I think I saw Bernard Arnault (BJEA) blush when you said what a great guy he was. The new "workshop" looked more like a factory to me, but I'm glad that some folks in TX will have $13/hour jobs sewing handbags together. Vanessa Freidman at the NYT suggests that BJEA is taking a risk by associating himself to you, because a lot of fans of those fancy LV handbags don't like you and might stop buying them. According to Forbes, BJEA has $96.3 billion so I guess he can afford to lose a couple of customers.
I'm glad that the bombing in Syria has stopped. I hope it doesn't start up again and I hope that ISIS does not find more young men to join their cause.
I hope you get some rest after your busy day in TX,
Remember, less is more,
